Hello and welcome…

My name is Lorna Williams and I provide Kamloops counselling services to youth, adults, couples and families in Kamloops, B.C. and the surrounding areas of Sun Peaks, Merritt, Lillooet, Savona, Spences Bridge, Ashcroft, Cache Creek, Barriere, Clearwater, Chase, Salmon Arm, etc. I am a practicing Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (#11772).

I believe that most of us have a strong pull to feel connected and valued by the people that we deem as most important in our lives. In this way, relationships are central to our emotional, mental and physical well-being. As we develop our understanding and broaden our perspectives of our life circumstances, we become more open to the possibilities of change and accepting of those areas in our life that no longer require our energy. Our level of self-compassion grows and our intuitive sense naturally becomes our internal compass in guiding our choices, decisions and moment to moment responses to our everyday challenges.

In working with clients, I have come to recognize that healing and transformation takes place when we are able to cultivate a healthy internal voice that can successfully guide us through these inevitable challenges in life. My work reflects a deep appreciation and sense of hopefulness for everyone’s ability to heal and grow even in the most difficult of situations.

I am grateful and privileged to live, work and play on the traditional lands of the Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc within Secwépemc’ulucw, the traditional and unceded territory of the Secwépemc peoples.
